Here is something that really sucks:
Realizing you are going in a different direction than someone else. Particularly, someone who is or used to be important to you.
For all this time you thought it would work out. That somehow you might always be friends in one way or another. But then you eventually might figure out that’s not what you want, and maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal to lose those people after all because you just aren’t going the same way, or even close to the same way. Did I mention it sucks? This is one of those growing up lessons that you figure out on your own that no one tells you about because they have probably dealt with the same kind of problem and it hurts to let go or leave people behind but it happens.
1. Get rid of as many distractions as you can. Switch off your phone; close tumblr and facebook; work away from other people – and don’t tell them where you are!
2. Make sure you’ve attended to your physical needs or else they’ll distract you - as you’ll feel uncomfortable. For example, wear…
